SRB
Specialist Resource Base for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
As part of the Local Offer, Norfolk County Council commissioned the establishment of SRB’s at mainstream schools around the County. Here at Mundesley Infant School we host an SRB which caters for children of Infant School age who exhibit difficulties in managing their behaviour, or may struggle with understanding their emotions. Our SRB works with mainstream schools in the North, Broadland and Eastern region of the county.
The aim of this is SRB is to offer short term support and intervention, or outreach support and advice, or a combination of the two. Our focus is to work in partnership with the home schools, pupils and their parents through support and intervention.
The SRB is staffed by a Lead Teacher, an HLTA (High Level Teaching Assistant) and two Teaching Assistants. The SRB class are Peacocks and their learning takes place in the mobile classroom located to the end of the school playground.
